As promised, here are the Third Finger Flash Cards. There are lots of different ways to use them. I have called them a ‘Third Finger Match Up’ game because that’s what my students love to do with them the most, but previous posts on these cards will give you further ideas.
You could also pull out a ‘focus card’ and ask your student to point to all those particular notes on the page/piece of music.
I have made them different colours to make it easier to tell them apart if they managed to get all bundled together. There are more on their way though folks! If only I had known years ago how easy these were to do, but they are rather time consuming. I hope they come in handy for you.
