I’ve had a few little tunes meandering around my head, so I thought I’d better start notating them so I can share them.
Having recently looked at some photos of my fluffy friends I had taken, I thought that bunnies really don’t move around very much when they’re this cute. Kittens on the other hand…
A fully formed song jumped into my head about a playful kitten wandering down and up the piano, and perhaps batting something out of the way (as they do) with the 2nds. I am still learning how to use my notation software – there is SO much to learn about it. I think the music makes sense though. In this piece, students will need to use flat fingers on alternating hands to ‘paw’ their way down, then up the piano.
