This was a game I played with both my First Grade and Second Grade Theory classes this year.
How to play:-
- Print out, cut and laminate the Crazy Quotes and the level of Theory Italian Terms you want.
- Place the theory terms and Crazy Quotes face down in a pile. Students to choose one of each.
- Students read out the Crazy Quote in the way the Theory Term tells them to ie Cantabile; they would read out their quote ‘in a singing style’ and the other students have to guess what their term is.
- Keep going through cards until your time limit is up (if you choose to set a time limit) or you run out of cards.
I love this game. It tests their knowledge of the terms, as the English definition isn’t there. Only the Italian ones.
