Greetings and welcome to my site! I don’t profess to be brilliant at either of the instruments I play. RSI and arthritis prevents me from even playing at weddings these days, but I do appreciate the gift I have been given and thoroughly enjoy being able to pass on the information and joy I have found in music to my students.
I did some searching on the Web and at music stores, discovered there were some piano sites that had quite excellent free printable games, but nothing available for violin/string teachers. After talking to my brilliant computer programmer of a husband, we decided to create a website that would allow other string teachers access to some of the games I play with my students and to be able to share ideas on how to play them, what concerns we might have and how to make string playing much more enjoyable for our students. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about? Finding the joy in music.
