I have to get my fourth week of Singing Time ready early, because Time Out for Women is heading our way, and I know I won’t have any time to prepare for that Sunday.  It will also be when our Ward Conference is on (not that I ‘put on a show’ for that – I am well organised every week!). 

I am going to put a picture of the Temple up on our whiteboard.  I will explain to the children that there are steps we need to take in our daily lives to prepare us to go to the temple.  ‘Our Gospel Standards’ will help us to be worthy.  I was going to have my ‘footsteps’ in a bag for the children to pull out one by one but I think I’ll put them leading to the Temple and we can see how many we can get through.  There are a LOT of them.

My apologies.  I can’t put up these feet for you to print out (in a pdf) because I purchased them, but I can let you know what I put on them.  You could trace your own foot (or a child’s) or find one on the Internet to write on.

I took each paragraph from the ‘My Gospel Standards’ poster and added a matching song:-

1. “I will follow Heavenly Father’s plan for me” – I Will Follow God’s Plan for Me (CS 164)
