Alternative uses:-
- Using rhythm worksheets from Wendy Steven’s Compose Create site (see previous post ‘Getting creative with rhythms and composing‘), clap or tap different time signatures/meters with your students.
- Clap/play a rhythm and see if your student can hold up the meter and time signature card identifying it.
- Student to create their own rhythm reflecting the time signature/meter.
- Teacher to hold up time signature card. Student to identify with the corresponding meter card.
